Return of Labor Day Weekend International Festival

NEWBURGH – Recreation Director Sam Sutton and Special Events Coordinator Regina Angelo are happy to announce that plans are in the works for the 32nd Annual International Festival to be held on the grounds of Delano Hitch Recreation Park at 401 Washington St. Newburgh, NY over Labor Day Weekend Friday September 3rd to Monday September 6th.

There will be vendors, a variety of international & local cuisine, a carnival with rides and games Vendors are still being accepted for the festival. All rides will start up at 5-11 p.m. each day.

The show will go on rain or shine. Midway rides and early bird vendors will begin on Friday around 5 p.m. The festivities will be in full swing on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m.to 11 p.m. and on Monday from 12 noon until 10 p.m.

Vendor fees are required, which is a flat rate, regardless of whether you participate for the entire festival. There will be daily rates also available. Vendors may set up on Friday afternoon at no charge as the carnival rides will be running. Set up time on Friday will be 12 noon and on Saturday to Monday from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Only prepaid vendors with assigned spots will be permitted to set up.

Reservations are being accepted for vendor space for food, New clothing/accessories/home goods, novelties, Arts/Crafts, Antiques/Collectibles, Community and entertainment.

Return the applications and the appropriate fees ASAP. Check or money order should be payable to City of Newburgh with International Festival in the comments/memo line. Send or bring your completed application along with your payment to City of Newburgh International Festival in care of Regina Angelo, Chairman or Comptrollers Office, City Hall, 4th floor 83 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550 or Maritza Wilson, Bilingual Clerk, Delano Hitch Recreation Office.
