NEWBURGH – The New York Lottery Tuesday announced that one third prize ticket worth $50,000 for the December 27, 2021 Powerball® drawing was purchased in Newburgh. The winning ticket has four matching numbers and the Powerball.
T
he prize-winning ticket was purchased at the Quick Stop Express on Route 9W. The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on December 27 were: 36-38-45-62-64 and the Powerball is 19. Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday, December 29 and the jackpot will be $441 million.
