2022 Collegiate Scholarship Application is Open

The Mid-Hudson Ivy Foundation in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Iota Alpha Omega Chapter announced that the 2022 Mid-Hudson Ivy Foundation Collegiate Scholarship Application is open. The foundation serves the Mid-Hudson Valley area which includes Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Iota Alpha Omega Chapter and the Mid-Hudson Ivy Foundation is proud of the fact that they, and their predecessors, have been able to assist over 140 high school students further their education through attending college.

Last year eight students from eight different high schools were able to benefit from these scholarships. Any high school student from the counties mentioned are eligible to apply. Sherre Wesley, President of the Mid-Hudson Ivy Foundation, Joy Young, Scholarship Chairman, Kim Jarratt, President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Iota Alpha Omega Chapter and their members are always fascinated by how many great students in the area are doing so many wonderful things in the community. With the high cost of college, it is great to be in a position to help. Our best reward is hearing back from the parents or the students on how well the students are doing in college.

The application deadline is April 1, 2022. The application must be received either online or by USPS and postmarked by April 1, 2022.
