The Brewers made it a two-run game at the bottom of the frame. Reyna scored on a Millstein single, and an Andrew Kanellis single cut it to 8-10.

In the seventh, Susquehanna pushed its lead up to four from a failed double-play turn, leading to two runs scoring for the River Hawks. Vassar came back with a three-run homer down the left-field line by Kanellis to make it 12-13. Vassar tied in the eighth after a Kanellis sacrifice fly. Afterward, the Brewers took their first lead when Ty Murray singled to right field, bringing Brinster home.

At the top of the ninth, the rain ended the game before Susquehanna could attempt a comeback as the Brewers took the victory.

Brinster went 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBIs, and two walks, while Kanellis went 3-for-5 with a home run, five RBIs, and one run. In total, seven Brewers recorded two or more hits.
