The Marist women’s track team made the most of its time in California and Pennsylvania this past week, notching strong performances at both the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Bison Outdoor Classic.

Bryan Clay Summary
In the 10,000-meter run on late Wednesday night, graduate student Hayley Collins ran a personal-best and ECAC-qualifying time in the invitational section, placing 14th in 35:34.60.

In the 5,000-meter run on Thursday night, freshman Tori Mariano surged to a personal-best time as well, running 17:33.22.

In the 1,500-meter run on Friday night, Adele Alexander ran 4:45.85, basically equaling her personal-best time from two weeks ago at Colonial Relays (4:45.12), despite battling illness. Teammate Hannah Belleville posted a personal-best time of 4:47.22 in the same event.

Bison Classic Summary
School record in pole vault for graduate student Jessica Ippolito.

Personal-best time in the 400 hurdles for Isabella Azar-Brandes.

Third-place finish in the 3,200-meter relay.

Strong sprint double from senior captain Camille McHenry, with season-best times in the 100 and 200 dashes.

Strong races and season bests for Kaitlyn Hastings and Caitlin McCann in the 1,500 run.
