School Students Enjoy STEM Adventure

ACCORD – Students in Mary Schoonmaker’s class at Kerhonkson Elementary School showed off their creativity and their engineering skills during a recent science lesson.

The Grade 3 students took an educational ride to build “roller coasters” that made enough momentum for a marble to go down, up, and come to a complete stop, just like at an amusement park. The project helped students build skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
