NEW WINDSOR – On Sunday, May 1, The Chris Eachus for Assembly campaign hosted an in person press conference at Brother’s BBQ. The fully packed outdoor event included guest speakers; Brett Broge (Orange County Democratic Chair), Terri Blancato-Horton (Vice Chair of the Orange County Democratic Committee), Virginia Scott (Cornwall Town Council), Tyrone King (US Army Master Sgt./Highland Town councilman), Betty Ann Yarus (New Windsor Democratic Chair), Kevindaryán Luján (Orange County Legislator), Jonathan G. Jacobson (New York State Assemblyman) Hector Leal (Former student), Kimberly Eachus (Wife).
The speakers talked about Eachus and his years of service as a former Orange County Legislator for 12 years, his dedication to community and his passion for mentoring young change makers for 40 years as a teacher.
“The rising cost of living has been detrimental to our working class and we need to do everything we can to give them a hand up. If elected, I pledge to do everything in my power to help find solutions to their everyday problems and be an advocate for them. Our community members deserve experienced and accessible leadership that will be able to deliver for them in Albany and that is what I intend to do,” said Chris Eachus.
