Ulster County Fair Announces Feature Entertainment

NEW PALTZ – After record breaking attendance of over 53,000 patrons in 2021, The Ulster County Fair returns for another week of family summer fun August 2 through August 7, 2022 at the county fairgrounds at 249 Libertyville Road in New Paltz, NY.

The Ulster County Fair entertainment schedule has been announced with nightly concerts featuring country & pop artists including Sawyer Brown, Jerrod Neimann and local sensation Ian Flanigan!

Opening Night Tuesday, August 2 features the return of local favorites Sass and Brass with Daryl Magill performing pop music from multiple decades and genres.

Wednesday night August 3 at 8PM, enjoy classic country legends Sawyer Brown performing their legendary hits from four decades.

Thursday, August 4 at 8PM direct from ABC TV’s “American Idol” it’s “Murphy” covering country and folk favorites and his own original material.

Friday, August 5 at 8PM it’s the debut of Allie Colleen who’s iconic sounding voice falls between classic country and today’s emerging country sound.

Saturday, August 6 at 8PM don’t miss Jerrod Neimann performing all his biggest country hits including “Lover, Lover” and “Drink To That All Night”.

The Grand Finale comes on Sunday night August 7th at 7:30PM when local sensation and finalist from NBC-TV’s “The Voice”, Ian Flanigan takes the Ulster County Fair stage.

In addition, returning U.C. Fair favorites include: the Robinson Racing Pigs, tractor and truck-pull competitions, a petting zoo, as well as dozens of midway thrill rides for the whole family. New this year is Danny Grant’s Cowboy Circus billed as “the world’s smallest rodeo!”

The Ulster County Fair will continue it’s pay-one-price admission that includes all the exhibits, entertainment and rides for $20 per person, while children under 36 inches tall attend free! After June 15, Advance tickets will be available online at $18 thru fair week.

Advance tickets can be used any day Tuesday through Sunday during the fair’s scheduled run. Popular pricing options like Tuesday Car Load Night will return where a car load of up to eight people can gain admission for only $50. Senior Citizens are admitted free on Wednesday and Thursday untill 4:00PM.
