MILTON – A trio of Mount Saint Mary College Women’s Cross Country runners were on the trails at the Hudson Valley SportsDome Saturday morning at the 2022 ECAC Championship. Freshman Sarah Kannenberg led the way for the Knights.
Kanneberg led the Mount Saint Mary field for the first time in 2022 on Saturday, posting a 17th place overall finish in a field of 57 runners. She completed her rookie season with a time of 31:06.6 on the 6K course at the SportsDome.
Classmate Lily O’Brien finished off her strong rookie season on Saturday with a 24th place finish for the Mount, while Priya Patel finished her career at the Mount with a 26th place finish. O’Brien crossed the finish line in a time of 32:12.8 with Patel following in a time of 32:52.8.
Isabella Gentile from John Jay won the women’s race in a time of 25:47.7 with St. Joseph’s-L.I. edging Maritime for the team title with a team total of 41 points.
