Orange County Honored For Financial Excellence

GOSHEN – Orange County has received the cashvest 90+ award from three+one, a platform for public and higher education entities throughout America.

The 90+ cashVest Award signifies excellence in the implementation and management of all liquidity in the public and higher education marketplace.

“I commend our Finance and Budget teams for their efforts and I’m grateful that they were recognized with this recognition,” Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus said. “It is indicative of how the County is able to maximize taxpayer dollars to optimize cash flow and reinvest into the community.”

The cashvest 90+ award recognizes how well an entity operates within five distinct areas, including percent of available funds providing value, liquidity proficiency, Warnick rate indicator, cash-flow optimization, and investment policy practices.

To qualify, an entity must have received a cashVest score of 90 or above for our consecutive quarters and keep a cashVest Score above 90 to remain an 90s+cashVest Club.
