LOUDONVILLE – Marist women’s basketball drops a conference matchup to the Siena Saints Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes were defeated by the Saints by a score of 74-67.
Kiara Fisher opened the game with a quick three-pointer to give Marist its first lead of the game.
The Red Foxes would continue the scoring with a 14-3 run, closing the first quarter out with a 24-15 lead.
In the second quarter, the Saints cut the lead down to just two points, outscoring Marist 21-14.
The Red Foxes led 38-26 at half.
Siena came out in the third quarter with a 10-0 run to take the lead 46-38.
The Red Foxes cut the lead within one from a layup from Fisher. Kendall Krick followed with a layup herself to give the Red Foxes a lead in the fourth.
Despite a hard-fought battle, the Siena Saints held the advantage over the Marist Red Foxes, 74-67.
