NEWBURGH – The Cornerstone Family Healthcare Board of Directors has appointed David Jolly as the community health center’s new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 6, 2023. Dave assumes the role following the retirement of Linda Muller, who served as the organization’s President and CEO for thirty-one years.
“I am honored serve as Cornerstone’s next CEO,” said Jolly. “I look forward to continuing to work alongside our leadership teams, incredible providers, staff and community partners in building an equitable and accessible healthcare system for all people in our community.”
Dave Jolly joined Cornerstone in 2014, where he has served as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer. In that role, he was instrumental in leading the health center’s COVID-19 response, digital transformation—including a new electronic medical records system and telehealth services—and pediatric foster care program.
“The Board of Directors is excited for what Dave will bring to the table as Cornerstone begins its next chapter,” said Wayne Day, chairman of Cornerstone Family Healthcare’s Board of Directors. “In his time at Cornerstone, Dave has demonstrated his dedication to the health center, its employees, and the patients and communities we serve.”
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Dave served as the Commissioner of the Orange County Department of Social Services (DSS) for eight years. Dave is currently the Chairman of the New York State Association of Counties, Medicaid and Human Services Resolutions Committee; a Board Member and Community Impact Chairperson for the United Way of Dutchess-Orange Region; and Past President of the New York Public Welfare Association. He also has participated in many research projects related to domestic violence, homelessness, and juvenile justice with Mount Saint Mary College.
“Dave has proven himself to be an exemplary leader with the right combination of sound principles, a patient-centered focus, and strategic vision to propel Cornerstone Family Healthcare into its next phase of success,” said Linda Muller. “I know that Dave is just as committed to our patients and staff as I am, and he shares my belief that everyone has a right to high-quality, affordable healthcare that meets them where they are.”
