ARF Holds Penny Social, Raising Over $3k

BEACON – Saturday, inside of the VFW on the corner of Beacon’s Main Street and Teller Avenue, Beacon’s Animal Rescue Foundation held a Penny Social, raising over $3000 to help support the 36 year organization that has helped care for countless dogs and cats in need while providing 98 adoptions this past year.

The all- volunteer organization is committed to securing loving homes and owners for their furry occupants, and until they do will do everything to provide the best possible care for them at their 54 Simmons Road, Beacon location.

Karla is one of the many furry friends Beacon’s Animal Rescue Foundation ( ARF) is actively seeking to secure a loving home and owner for through adoption. The shelter held a Penny Social Saturday at the VFW in Beacon to help support their expenses of helping care for the over 50 animals they are presently taking good care of, providing food, shelter and plenty of love. The all- volunteer organization has been in existence for 36 years and is hoping to continue their mission of finding good homes for their cats and dogs for many years to come.
