Students Participated in 21st All Day Institute

NEW ROCHELLE – Twenty-four Newburgh Free Academy Sophomore students from the high school campuses participated in the 21st All Day Institute on Human Rights at Iona College on March 15th. NECSD scholars were among the 31 high schools from the State of New York, who attended in this event. The students participated in breakout sessions and interacted with the keynote speakers on voting rights, and Michael Gyory, from GenerationsForward. They were also greeted by the Westchester County Executive, Mr. George Latimer.
