CORNWALL – In front, Phyllis Murphy, Director of the Town of Cornwall Recreation Department, serves ice cream to some guests at Saturday’s ice cream social, held at the Town of Cornwall’s recreation Center. Behind Murphy, are volunteers: Eileen Hartman and Mary Donahue.

The day, the kickoff to town youth baseball and softball play, brought in about 200 excited guests, who were served a total of 30 gallons of ice cream while raising funds that will be used for Cornwall’s Fourth of July Day.
