NEW WINDSOR – Heritage Middle School hosted an interactive science night for students and families to learn and enjoy together. Multiple stations were set up, including a presentation in the NFA Planetarium! The evening began with a virtual presentation by Dr. Trena Ferrell, a NASA Environmental Scientist.
Students enjoyed science activities while parents were able to learn about ways in which to support their students in the middle school.
Students and families re-joined for activities that included a star show in the NFA Planetarium, building and testing rockets and parachutes, making Galaxy Slime and Moon Rocks, creating lanyards of the Universe, and heading outside for a constellation scavenger hunt.
