POUGHKEEPSIE – The NFA Varsity Goldbacks Rowing team competed in the Novice & Varsity Triangulars at the Hudson River Rowing Association Boathouse in Poughkeepsie this season.
The Girls Junior 4+ took second place overall (silver). The boat was composed of: Carmen Burgarelli, Coxswain; Jamie Cullen, 4 seat, stroke; Augustine White, 3 seat; Charlotte Perry, 2 seat and Allie VanDalinda, bow.
The team competed with the 13 other scholastic rowing programs in the Hudson Valley Rowing League.
The team will be competing in the New York State Scholastic Rowing Championships in Saratoga NY.
The NFA Rowing Team is coached by Head Coach Brittany Bonesteel and Assistant Coaches Joseph Roy and Bryana Lebron.
