MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon High School held its Senior Awards Convocation on Monday, June 12, 2023. Many students were recognized for their achievements, and several were awarded with scholarships.
New York Attorney General Letitia James also congratulated the winners of the Triple “C” Awards for Character, Courage, Commitment in a video that was played at the ceremony.
Several awards included scholarships or prizes including The Hector M. and Phyllis Corsbie Hyacinthe Foundation Essay Competition, Westchester County Chapter of the Links, Inc., and the NYS Academic Excellence Awards.
