Students Receive President’s Scholarship

KINGSTON – Kingston City School District is excited to announce that 10 of our students have been awarded the SUNY Ulster President’s Challenge Scholarship for 2023: five from J. Watson Bailey Middle School and five from M. Clifford Miller Middle School.

Through this scholarship award, aimed at Grade 8 students who are the first in their families to pursue college, these students have earned the opportunity to receive a two-year tuition-free college education at SUNY Ulster upon their high school graduation.

Additionally, they will receive ongoing support and guidance throughout their high school years to assist them in staying on track towards their college goals. This scholarship is made possible thanks to generous donations from community sponsors.
