Two Famous Street Photographers Reconnect

DUTCHESS COUNTY – Legendary street photographers; on left, Bob Taylor, and on right, Louis Mendes, recently connected in Dutchess County to share memories as well as still very applicable uses for- experiences with their authentic, antique Polaroid Signature Press Cameras, which they are both proudly sporting.

Taylor, now 93 years young, known to randomly take candid photos of patrons in restaurants and bars in the Washington, DC, was featured in a Washington Post piece, “Night Lives;” while Mendes, 83, a New York City native and resident, earned the name, “Street Corner Photographer” for his famed street portraits and has been written up about extensively for his talented work.

Both photographers work is exclusively in black and white and continues to intrigue all who encounter its genius.
