NEWBURGH – Last Friday, the monthly Giving Day, held at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center on the third Friday of each month, once again took place, despite a snowy, brisk morning- afternoon.
The popular event- which includes an assortment of food products- such as canned goods, fresh produce, condiments, snacks, drinks, as well as vitamins, also offers clothing, other essentials, and an assortment of interesting, much-needed products.
Mr. Bill Kaplan, a huge proponent of Giving Day, who is pictured here with its chief organizer, Marietta Allen, stopped by to interact with volunteers and guests as well as check out the fun, much appreciated happenings.
