RADFORD, VA – The Marist baseball team defeated Radford in the second game of the series 5-2, Saturday afternoon. A dominant start from Riley Orr and a game-winning three run home run from Ethan Conrad boosted the Red Foxes to the win.
Lewis Rodriguez led off the first inning with an infield single.
The Red Foxes were held scoreless in the inning.
Radford scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning.
The Red Foxes trailed 2-0 after one inning of play.
In the top of the third inning, Colin Mackle started the inning with a single.
Lewis Rodriguez followed Mackle with a single.
Johnny Decker loaded the bases with one out on the third single of the inning.
The Red Foxes were held scoreless in the inning.
Riley Orr pitched a scoreless second and third innings for the Red Foxes.
In the top of the fourth inning, Justin Kapuscinski led off with a home run.
Kapuscinski recorded his first home run of the season.
Kyle Pollack singled with one out in the inning for the Red Foxes.
The Red Foxes cut into the Radford lead 2-1 after the top of the fourth inning.
In the top of the sixth inning, Bayram Hot scored Ethan Conrad on a fielder’s choice.
The Red Foxes evened the game at 2-2 after six innings of play.
In the eighth inning, the Red Foxes took the lead 5-2.

Marco Ali reached base by a hit by pitch.
Ethan Conrad delivered the eventual game-winning three-run home run, which put the Red Foxes ahead 5-2.
