NIAGARA UNIVERSITY – The Marist softball team earned a series win at Niagara on Saturday.

After splitting Friday’s doubleheader, the Red Foxes earned a 6-1 victory in game three.

Maddie Pleasants provided the offensive firepower with five RBIs, and Kiley Myers turned in another strong performance in the circle.

Niagara had runners at the corners with two outs in the second, but Myers’ first strikeout of the day kept it scoreless.

The Red Foxes then opened the scoring in the top of the third on Pleasants’ three-run homer.

Brianna Delaney’s homer cut Marist’s lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the third.

Marist answered with a three-run top of the fourth. An RBI single by Miah McDonald brought in Kaitlyn Husic. Pleasants immediately followed with a two-run double, which scored Sophia Recrosio and McDonald.
