Game One
In the opening inning, Army’s starkting pitcher, Olivia Farris, held the Mountain Hawks hitless and scoreless.

Army came out swinging in the bottom of the first, as Ashton White drove in Parker Llantero with an RBI single. Lauren Little followed up with another RBI single down the line, bringing home Kayla Edwards and extending Army’s lead to 2-0.

Both teams remained off the scoreboard in the second frame. It wasn’t until the top of the third inning that Lehigh managed to score, cutting the deficit to one with an RBI double.

The following three innings showcased a pitching duel between Farris and Lehigh’s Katelyn Young, with neither team able to plate a run until the bottom of the sixth, when Little notched her second RBI to bring home Edwards.

Army’s reliever, Breanna Izzo, shut down the Mountain Hawks, securing a 3-1 victory for Army.

With this triumph, the Black Knights handed Lehigh their first conference loss of the season, snapping their 17-game winning streak.

Notably, Ashton White and Lauren Little delivered standout performances, both going two-for-three. White tallied one RBI, while Little contributed two.

However, Army quickly responded with a two-run homer by Caitlyn Newburn, her fourth of the season, knotting the score.

Neither Army nor Lehigh managed to score until the top of the fifth inning, when Lehigh added three more runs.
