Knights Drop Non-Conference Game to Union, 11-3

SCHENECTADY – The Mount Saint Mary College Knights baseball team battled hard but ultimately fell to the Union College Dutchmen in a 11-3 contest on Wednesday. Despite the loss, the Knights showcased offensive potential and strong defensive plays.

Several Knights players put up notable performances in the loss:
Frank Signorelli showcased his power, blasting a triple and driving in a run.

Tyler Van De Bogart continued his consistency with a single and a walk.

Luke Barone delivered a big hit with a two-RBI double.

Richard Lamping contributed offensively with two singles.

“We played some solid defense today and got some good work from our bullpen. We are turning our focus to St. Joe’s Brooklyn who is coming in on Sunday,” said Head Coach Trevor Purcell.
