NEWBURGH – Thursday through Sunday the City of Newburgh was buzzing with the Annual Italian Feast, a popular tradition taking place for over a 100 years.
Honoring Out Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Anthony, the well- attended event took place at Sacred Heart- St. Francis Church on 9W and Ann Street in the City of Newburgh.
With daily music entertainment venues as well as authentic, delicious Italian cuisine, the Feast was highlighted by such guest favorites as the garlic knots whose aroma pleasantly filled the air, along with scrumptious meatballs, 800 of which were devoured on the first two days. The food was such a hit that most all revisited the tents for seconds. Free games were also available along the sidewalk for kids to enjoy.
