BEACON – On Sunday, July 28, a contingent of concerned area residents-bicyclists turned out at Ron”s Ice Cream in Beacon, to participate in the Beacon Bicycle Coalition Critical Mass Ride, raising awareness for the need for safe bike lanes on the Rte 52 Beacon- Fishkill busy, increasingly dangerous area.
Riding to TRAX coffee shop, the group met up with the Fishkill Concepts Committee where a public information session was held to discuss this integral issue.
More meetings and actions are being planned for the future.
