Smith Has Another Strong Campaign Filing

Yvette Valdés Smith’s campaign for the 39th State Senate District continues to gain momentum, proudly announcing another significant strong campaign finance filing. This achievement underscores the campaign’s continually growing grassroots support and the community’s desire for new leadership.

In the latest filing cycle, the campaign raised an impressive $64,708, bringing the total campaign contributions to $362,000 including public matching funds. Yvette’s campaign now has $312,908 on hand, ready to fuel the drive for change in the 39th District. This success is largely attributed to the overwhelming support from small-dollar contributors, with the campaign receiving nearly 400 small qualifying contributions.

Yvette Valdés Smith celebrated the news, emphasizing the grassroots power and in-district support that have been pivotal to her campaign. “The strength of our campaign lies in the hands of everyday people who believe in a brighter future for our district. This milestone is a testament to the grassroots power driving our movement for change,” Yvette stated. “The overwhelming support from our community proves that together, we can bring new leadership to the 39th District.”

The campaign’s impressive support among small-dollar contributors has also qualified Yvette for New York State’s new campaign finance system. This system ensures that candidates from all backgrounds have the resources needed to run for public office, reinforcing the campaign’s commitment to inclusivity and community-driven change.

As Yvette Valdés Smith’s campaign continues to build momentum, the focus remains on addressing the needs and aspirations of the 39th District. With the community’s continued support, Yvette is poised to bring fresh leadership and a new vision to the district.
