BEACON – Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County is excited to announce its first annual Hearts and Hammers Dinner & Auction, a night dedicated to celebrating community, contributions, and building hope. The event will take place on October 17th from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at The Roundhouse in Beacon.
Hearts and Hammers promises to be an evening to remember, featuring delectable food, an open bar, lively music, and silent auction. All proceeds from the event will directly support Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build safe, affordable homes for families in need within Dutchess County.
A unique aspect of the evening will be the signature “construction couture,” where guests are encouraged to blend business wear with construction gear. This fun twist symbolizes the heart and hammer of our community efforts.
They are honored to present the Golden Hammer Award to Maureen Brennan Lashlee for her outstanding contributions to Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, the Heart of Habitat Award will be bestowed upon Peter Stafford & the Knights of Columbus Council #7551 for their unwavering support and dedication to their mission.
“We are thrilled to host this event and celebrate the incredible support we receive from our community,” said Peter Carr, Board Chair of Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County. “The Hearts and Hammers event is not just a fundraiser, but a celebration of the community spirit that makes our work possible. We look forward to an evening of celebration, gratitude, and support for our ongoing efforts to build homes and hope.”
