Mount Men Fall to CSI, FDU-Florham

STATEN ISLAND – The Mount Saint Mary’s Men’s swimming team was on the road Saturday afternoon to face the College of Staten Island and Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham. The meet ultimately ended in a loss for the Knights against CSI (186-26) and FDU-Florham (86-54).

Edward Mills had the top finish of the meet for the Knights, placing third in the 100-yard freestyle at 57.92.

Michael D’Ambrosio touched out an FDU-Florham swimmer in a tight race to take fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:24.24.

Jackson Lerner had a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, coming in at 1:00.74.

Men’s swimming will compete again on Friday, October 25 at home, when they will host Brooklyn College for their breast cancer awareness meet at 5 PM.
