Orange County Health Department Annual Breast Cancer Screening Event

NEWBURGH – On Tuesday, October 22, Healthy Orange Farmers Market, sponsored weekly by the Orange County Department of Health, held its Annual Breast Cancer Screening event, where grateful guests were offered free breast screenings in the privacy of a mobile office, compliments of the City of Newburgh’s Cornerstone Family Healthcare.

October is “pink” Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and early detection is critical. Community partnerships and events such as these, not only can deliver important health information, but help save lives.
