Fisher Takes Top-20 Finish at Championships

MONTGOMERY – Junior Sierra Fisher led the Red Foxes with an 18th place finish, as the Marist women’s cross-country team concluded its 6K race at the MAAC Championships, held at Twin Ponds on the Farm Saturday afternoon.

The Red Foxes finished sixth out of 13 teams at the MAAC Championships with 151 points.

Fisher led the Red Foxes at 21:28.7 in the women’s 6K, securing 18th place as the lone Marist runner to snag a top-20 finish. Freshman Julia Zydanowicz was Marist’s next closest finisher with a time of 22:09.6, which was good for 32nd place. Kyra Pellegrino rounded out the top 40 finishers for the Red Foxes at 34th place at 22:11.6.
