Marist Tennis Dominates Matchup Against Lafayette

NEW WINDSOR – The Marist men’s and women’s tennis teams were each 4-1 victors over Lafayette on Sunday evening. Each team securing its respective doubles points proving critical in their overall success. These victories give the women’s team a record of 2-2 and the men’s team a record of 3-2.

Cloe Clements Sorde for the women was pivotal in the team’s victory, winning at #1 doubles (6-1) alongside Lola Ungerman and taking the #2 singles point in straight sets. (6-1, 6-2)

For the men, Fateh Singh played a direct role in two points, with his success in #3 doubles (6-2) alongside Augustin Damonte and taking #6 singles match in straight sets. (6-1, 6-4)
