Army Baseball Falls at Wofford in Series Finale

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Army West Point Baseball took an 8-1 loss to the Wofford Terriers Sunday to conclude its three-game series in Spartanburg.

Starting pitcher Bryce Brownlee went 4.1 innings in the matchup, claiming a pair of strikeouts.

Kevin Reavey tossed a pair of frames out of the bullpen, and was himself relieved by Dom Trippi making his season debut, and Kaden Youmans making his career debut.

John McKillop also made his career debut Sunday, pinch-hitting in the eighth inning.

Army got on the scoreboard in the eighth inning by way of a Chris Barr two-out triple, followed by an Addison Ainsworth RBI single.

Army is slated to travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. this weekend for a three-game series at Air Force, February 28-March 2.
