Dennis Breaks Own Triple Jump School Record

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Junior Jahmilia Dennis cracked the top-22 in Division III this season with a new school record and personal-best mark of 12.01 meters to score the regional triple jump crown at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships at Williams College on Thursday.

1500 Meters
Sophomore Adelaide Nyhan earned a third place podium finish with a new personal-best time of 4:35.21.

800 Meters
First year Lizzie Lowe tallied a 14th place finish with a time of 2:19.20.

Triple Jump
Dennis broke her own school record with a new career-best leap of 12.01 meters, which ranks 17th in Division III heading into today’s competition, to take home the regional title.

Hammer Throw
First year Amanda Hanrahan scored a 16th overall finish with a top throw of 44.92 meters.

Vassar will learn of its NCAA Championship qualifiers on Friday afternoon.
