“Harlem Hellfighters” 109 Years of Service & Sacrifice

NEW WINDSOR – The Hall of Honor will commemorate Purple Heart Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 9th at 1:00 pm. The program, is in support of their rotating exhibit on the 369th Infantry Regiment and will feature a presentation on the history of the Harlem Hellfighters, (1916-through today). It will be presented by Lt. Colonel David M. Myones, Commanding officer of the 369th Support Battalion.

The Battalion’s history can be traced back to the original World War I regiment. The public is invited to join them to support all the Purple Heart veterans.

Admission is free. Reservations are suggested, so please call 845-561-1765 for reservations.

The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor is a New York State Museum under the jurisdiction of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. The Palisades Interstate Park Commission administers 29 parks, parkways and historic sites for the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in New York as well as the Palisades Interstate Park and parkway in New Jersey.
