STONE RIDGE – The SUNY Orange Colts dropped their first road game of the season on Thursday afternoon, falling to nationally ninth-ranked Ulster Community College by a score of 6-0. Orange is now 0-2 on the year while Ulster improved to 4-1.
A penalty kick from Andrew Foster in the 26th minute broke the scoreless tie. One minute later Steven Hernandez extended the Senators lead with a shot from outside the 18-yard box.
The Senators added two more goals before halftime to take a 4-0 lead into the break. They added two more in the second half to round out the scoring.
Freshman goalkeeper Dominic Vega recorded 9 saves for the Colts.
