Hamilton School Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Music, Food, Fun

Hamilton School students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a musical, food-filled festival on the playground. The event even had a special guest DJ – Assistant Principal Edwin Alexander! The celebration, organized by parent liaison Maura Gutierrez and reading/literacy teacher Veronica Cordero-Turner, gave students the opportunity to honor the many cultures at Hamilton while playing games, dancing and singing. Student singing – in Spanish – and dance performances highlighted the celebration, with the crowd dancing and singing along.
