BEACON – The Beacon Bonfire, a massive celebration of creativity, the arts, and outdoor fun, returned to the City after a year hiatus.
Kicking off with an opening, inspiring fire ceremony Thursday, the four day venue included close to 40 scheduled events, spanning: music, drama, dance and movement and visual art performances, along with a “Fireball 10k” trail race, climbing the iconic Mount Beacon, up to the Fire Tower, and around the reservoir amid beautiful fall foliage.

The long weekend event, laden with creative fun- celebrating the beauty of local artists- and outdoor movement- concluded with an energetic, Sunday evening closing Bonfire and drum performance.
