Farmers Market Winter Market Saturday’s Begin

NEWBURGH – The Newburgh Farmers’ Market is warming up the winter with its biggest cold-season lineup yet. From Saturday, December 6, the market opens its winter season inside the brand-new Ritz Theater Stagehouse, located at 100 Ann Street, and will run every Saturday through April 25 from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Shoppers can expect a vibrant mix of farm-fresh vegetables, specialty mushrooms, baked goods, local cheese, artisanal and specialty foods, small-batch crafts, and more. This year
brings exciting new additions: prepared food vendors, including a crepes stand and made to order old-school Bronx–style pizza, along with hot beverages to keep market-goers cozy all winter long.

The winter market will also feature live music and weekly programming, offering a warm and welcoming community space to shop, eat, gather, and connect throughout the season.
To celebrate the winter season and reward regular shoppers, the market is launching the Winter Harvest Card, a new loyalty program for weekly visitors. Shoppers will receive a card that gets stamped each week they attend the market. Collect 15 or more stamps throughout the winter season and be entered to win a raffle prize at the end of the season.

This program celebrates and rewards community members who show up consistently to support local farmers and makers.

This year, the Newburgh Farmers’ Market is proud to participate in the second annual Frost Fest celebration, a Newburgh Downtown District Alliance initiative happening the first three
Saturdays of December.

The Newburgh Farmers’ Market is stewarded by Common Ground Farm and hosted at Safe Harbors of the Hudson. The Newburgh Farmers’ Market mission is to feed and engage the Newburgh Community, support local farms and businesses, and create a more just food system.
