Students Compete in Annual Spelling Bee

KINGSTON – The The M. Clifford Miller Middle School Auditorium buzzed with excitement on January 12 as the district’s top spellers competed in the annual KCSD Spelling Bee!

As proud family members cheered them on, these talented students took to the stage to show poise and spelling prowess through challenging rounds with no spell check in sight.

Congratulations to spelling champion Dominick, a Grade 6 student from Bailey Middle School, and runners-up Alia (MCM), Addyson (Graves), Adrian (JWB), and Eliza (JWB). These students will represent the KCSD at the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee, which will be held virtually on a date to be announced.
