Dennis Wins Second Straight Triple Jump Title

COLLEGEVILLE, PA – Senior Jahmilia Dennis won her second straight AARTFC triple jump title and broke her own school record mark to place fifth nationally in Division III this season along with the 4×100 relay squad breaking its record for the second straight day at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships at Ursinus.

Heptathlon
Sophomore Elana Pukel placed 12th overall with 3653 points following a third place finish in the javelin throw with a career-best toss of 31.55 meters.

Pukel added a 13th place finish in the long jump at 4.69 meters along with a 12th place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:45.93.

4×100 Relay
The relay of senior Jamie Eu, sophomore Lianna Camille, sophomore Lainie D’Auria and first year Maddie Seguin earned a sixth place finish and improved its school record time to 47.80.

800 Meters
Sophomore Elizabeth Lowe notched a ninth place finish after finishing second in her heat with a time of 2:15.96.

Triple Jump
Dennis garnered the regional title after recording a new personal-best and school record mark of 12.18 meters, which ranks fifth nationally in Division III this season.

D’Auria finished 19th overall at 10.96 meters followed by first year Ruthie Weiss in 20th position with a leap of 10.79 meters.

High Jump
Weiss added a 18th place finish with a top height of 1.50 meters.

Discus Throw
Senior Sydney Petrie finished 18th overall with a top throw of 37.56 meters.
