Wallkill’s Rhythms & Wellness Fair

Saturday, at the Circleville Park, the Wallkill’s Rhythms & Wellness Fair took place. Sponsored by: Orange County, NY Department of Health; Mount Sinai; and CHJI Sullivan County Care Coalition, the event featured several organizations providing free health screenings. Among the participants were, KAPPA ETA ETA CHAPTER, INC., a nursing sorority, doing blood pressure readings and educating guests on the importance of early detection and being proactive about health. Frank DenDanto III, Wallkill Town Supervisor, was among those taking advantage of the many health screenings available at Saturday’s Wallkill’s Rhythms & Wellness Fair at Circleville Park. Here he is getting his blood drawn to test PSA levels for prostate cancer. In addition to this important screening, there were skin, blood pressure and blood clotting tests conducted as well as several other health- related offerings. It’s all related to DenDanto’s “continued initiative to bring the community together while connecting residents to meaningful programs, services and resources at no cost to them for a stronger- more connected Town of Wallkill.”
