This event was the culmination of six weeks of Cadet Basic Training, a rigorous program that trains new cadets in basic military skills and prepares them for entry into the Corps of Cadets. The Class of 2029 reported to West Point for Reception Day on June 30.
The cadets passed in review, displaying a banner featuring their newly created class motto for the first time in front of Quarters 100, the superintendent’s residence, at approximately 11 a.m. This event acknowledges the cadets’ successful completion of one of the most demanding challenges they will encounter during their 47-month cadet experience.
