Hudson Valley Credit Union Announces Promotions

POUGHKEEPSIE – Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) is excited to announce the promotion of five leaders and the appointment of one leader to a new role across the cooperative.

Christopher Cantele has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Head of Wealth Management. In this role, Chris establishes, sets and monitors the strategic direction for Wealth Management at HVCU. Alongside this, he oversees staff and daily operations of departments to ensure exceptional member service is maintained.

Steve Goodwine has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Head of the Contact Center. In this role, Steve provides strategic leadership and directs and monitors the daily operations of the Contact Center. In addition, he develops internal and external partnerships to meet departmental and organizational goals.

William Lionhood has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Director of Strategy & Transformation. In this role, he drives HVCU’s strategic initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration- and leading transformative projects. Alongside this, he aligns business strategies with corporate objectives and ensures successful execution of growth and transformation efforts.

Bianca West has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Head of Brand and Marketing. In this role, Bianca is responsible for setting the strategic vision, aligning marketing initiatives with organizational goals, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive brand growth, member engagement, and community impact.

Robyn Williams has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Retail Director. Robyn is responsible for the engagement and development of branch staff and the performance management of assigned branches in the region. In addition, she leads her team to deliver an exceptional member experience and achieve growth in deposits, loans, and other solutions.

Christy Mitchell will now serve as Vice President, Director of Business Effectiveness.
In this capacity, Christy will leverage her leadership, coaching and change management skills and deep experience to accelerate progress as HVCU continues focus on driving efficiency and growing the business.
