BEACON – The Howland Public Library is pleased to present Art Is Elementary, an exhibition celebrating the creativity and imagination of elementary students from Beacon City School District schools. The exhibit features a selection of artwork from Glenham, Sargent, South Avenue, and J.V. Forrestal Elementary Schools.
A public reception honoring the student artists and their teachers will be held on Saturday, January 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
Art Is Elementary showcases a diverse range of student work and offers a glimpse into the vibrant art-making taking place in elementary classrooms across the district. The exhibition invites the community to celebrate young artists and the role of arts education in fostering creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
The exhibition will be on view in the library’s Community Room during regular library hours. Please note that the gallery may not be accessible during some library programs. Visitors are encouraged to call the library at 845-831-1134 or visit beaconlibrary.org before planning their visit.
