MIDDLETOWN – The SUNY Orange Colts closed out their regular season with a victory over Dutchess community college 53-41. The Colts improve to 4-16 and the Falcons drop to 4-16.
Freshman Grace Breheny had a stand out performance having a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds adding two assists and three steals. Sophomore Rayanna Quintana chipped in 13 points with six rebounds, one assist and two steals. Sophomore Adriana Vazquez had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while also adding four assists, four steals and two blocks.
The Colts came out with energy and quickly set the tone for the game. SUNY Orange kept a lead throughout the first half as they went into halftime leading 27-19. Returning from the break the Colts carried the same energy as they kept control of the game and secured a 53-41 victory.
