Mount Celebrates Black History Month

NEWBURGH – Mount Saint Mary College students recently gathered to honor the rich legacy of Black history and culture at a special event hosted by the Office of Opportunity and Academic Enrichment Programs (OAEP).

The celebration provided a space for the Mount community to reflect and connect through a variety of cultural touchstones. Attendees viewed inspirational videos, enjoyed a communal meal, and participated in an upbeat celebration of culture through dance, bringing students together in a powerful display of community and joy.
