Black History Committee Celebrates MLK Day

Right: Mr. Robert Wright, Executive Director and one of the founders of Nubian Directions, an integral community organization in the City of Poughkeepsie, once again attended the Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, held Friday at the Civic Center. Mr. Wright was honored last year with the Wager Award. His organization, Nubian Directions, has been around for over 20 years, playing a key role in improving the lives of, while offering vital opportunities to many people throughout the Hudson Valley.
