Krystal Serrano Receives Democratic Endorsement

MONROE – At the Orange County Democratic Convention, held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, Krystal Serrano, resident of the Town of Monroe, was unanimously endorsed as the Democratic candidate for the 98th Assembly District. The 98th District is located in Orange and Rockland counties. It is comprised of the City of Port Jervis, the Towns of Deerpark, Greenville, Minisink, Warwick, Monroe, Tuxedo, and in Rockland, the Town of Ramapo.

Albany needs reform; ethically and procedurally and getting back to focusing on the needs of the people the legislators represent is long overdue.

Krystal Serrano is a proven fighter for the people and will support real reform.   She brings experience in small business development, job growth opportunities, concern for quality healthcare choices for working families.  She is a leader in building strong neighborhoods with healthcare education, foreclosure stabilization, job development, and by working with community leaders to help their constituents with homeowner taxation and environmental issues.  Krystal Serrano opposes unfunded mandates that get passed on to local governments when bills come due.

Ms. Serrano is currently working with various associations on government affairs/community engagement along with currently sitting members of the NY State Assembly on both sides of the aisle.  She will be effective immediately as a member of the Democratic majority and a strong Assemblywoman for the 98thAssembly District.
